For over 40 years, CCB has done so much more than stage beautiful ballets. We connect dancers, schools, businesses, and families across Chico and beyond. We believe that dance education builds creativity, confidence, teamwork, and discipline—teaching young artists to be part of something much bigger than themselves.

Our dancers deeply enrich Chico and our outlying communities through:

Producing a breathtaking, full-length ballet is both an artistic triumph and a significant financial investment:

  • 80+ Local Dancers trained, nurtured, and mentored each season.

  • 120+ Costumes meticulously designed, hand-fitted, and maintained.

  • $70,000 to $200,000 required to stage a high-quality production.

  • Every Dollar Maximized: We passionately clean, repair, and reuse sets and costumes to ensure your generosity goes further.

As a non-profit organization, Chico Community Ballet relies entirely on community and corporate hearts to bring these productions to life.
